Competition for Spanish-speaking Composers launched

  Calling all budding Spanish-speaking composers in Australia! Your ticket to gaining recognition and fame for your ‘unsung’ talent is here – and you could be the next big sensation in the Spanish-speaking community!

  HACA 2008 is holding a song writing competition for amateur composers with unpublished work to be held at the Uruguayan Club in Sydney on 8 November 2008. Not only will the competition reward outstanding talent; it will also promote the vibrant Hispanic culture in Australia.
  In addition to being recognised within the community, great prizes are at stake including $1,000 in cash to the composer and a trophy for the interpreter for the winning entry. Second and third placers will also win exciting prizes.
