Howard and Faraday Roads, Padstow NSW - 25/10/2009 - 25/10/2009
Even the drizzle couldn’t dampen the enthusiasm of the large crowd who came out for the fifth Padstow on Parade on Sunday, 25 October.
The fun community day organised by the Rotary Club of Padstow offered a fantastic weekend day out for families and visitors.
Among the attractions included: lively stage entertainment, local performances by children, booths offering a wide range of arts, crafts, food and merchandise, displays, competitions and free kids’ activities such as KidsZoo, Sand Wizard, and many more.
The event also featured the lovable mascots Dora The Explorer, Boots and Funky Bugs – a big hit among the kids.
UBI World TV, which broadcasts more than 100 TV and radio channels in Arabic, Greek, Turkish, Spanish, Filipino and in many other languages, sponsored the event. Visitors to UBI’s booth were given a sampling of the best multi-cultural entertainment from around the world with live viewing of UBI’s channels.
The Rotary Club of Padstow would like to thank everyone who made the event a success, especially its sponsors: Bankstown City Council, Revesby Workers Club, Bunnings Bankstown Airport, Bankstown Sports Club, Sydney Glass P/L, Gloria Jeans Coffee Padstow and its media partners: Canterbury Bankstown Express, Torch and UBI World TV.
