What are the UBI Optus D2 Settings?The UBI World TV signal is broadcasted from the Optus satellite, Optus D2. The frequencies are:
Frequency: 12644
Symbol Rate: 22500
Polarization: Horizontal
FEC: 3/4

How do I enable the Free-To-Air Channels that are available from Optus D2?Using your UEC STB you are able to receive most satellite Free-To-Air channels that are broadcasted on Optus D2.

Note:
- It is advisable not to use the Public Free-To-Air channels if you are sharing a dish
- UBI World TV is not responsible for the Public Free-To-Air channels in the Public Mode, and are broadcasted by a third party
- UBI World TV does not guarantee that you will be able to access the Public Free-To-Air channels and is equipment dependable
- Watching Pubic Free-To-Air channels for a long period of time will result in the UBI STB loosing authorisation on the UBI channels, please wait approximately 15mins and the UBI channels will resume
I have a "E52 No Signal at 12### Mhz" Message
If it's raining please wait for the rain to subside as sometimes it’s hard to receive a signal if there are heavy rain clouds.
If the weather is fine or you experience this after a storm, press the Green button on your UBI remote control and check your Strength and Quality.
Firstly carefully remove the Power Cable (#7) from the rear of the decoder box for 10 seconds.
If this does not help carefully unscrew the LNB IN cable (#6) from the rear of the decoder box for 10 seconds.

You may also check that the UBI frequencies are correct as per this guide.

I have No Picture and/or No Audio
A large number of faults that you may experience with the UEC STB can be resolved by following a few simple steps:
Firstly hold down the first two buttons from the left hand side together for 5 seconds.

If this does not help carefully remove the Power Cable which is the black cable on the far right (#7) from the rear of the UEC STB for 10 seconds.

If you are still experiencing problems, contact the UBI Technical Help Department on 1300 400 800.
I have No Power or Lights on the STB

I have a "E16 Service Is Currently Scrambled" Message
If you have been on the Public Mode for quite some time then the UBI decoder box can loose the authroisation from UBI. Simply wait for 15 minutes and the service should return.
If you have not been on the Public Mode please contact UBI on 1300 400 800 for further information regarding your account.
I have a "E17 Service Is Currently Scrambled" MessageThis message will appear if you have inserted someone else’s UBI Smartcard into your UBI decoder box or vice versa. Please return your UBI Smartcard back into your UBI decoder box and contact UBI on 1300 400 800 for further assistance.
I have a "E37 Service Is Unkown" MessageA large number of faults that you may experience with the UEC STB can be resolved by firstly holding down the first two buttons from the left hand side together for 5 seconds.

I have a "E04 Please Insert Smart Card" MessageE04 Please Insert Smart Card message will appear if the UBI Smart Card is incorrectly inserted or isn't inserted.
The UBI Smart Card should be inserted with the gold chip facing down and depending on your type of Smart Card, the Green or Blue arrow should be inserted first.

I have a "E05 Unkown Smart Card" MessageE05 Unkown Smart Card message will appear if the UBI Smart Card is incorrectly inserted or isn't inserted.
