Why is my monthly subscription fee increasing?Since UBI launched in 2004, the costs of providing our services have been increasing substantially. Costs incurred for satellite and fibre transmission, acquisition of new channels, infrastructure and operations have all been increasing. And we have launched two complimentary 24-hour English and multi-lingual news channels - Al Jazeera English and euronews – as well as the best sporting events via our premium add-on channels, Setanta Sports and Canal del Futbol.
To date UBI has absorbed all these cost increases without making any general increase to our subscription fees. And although UBI will continue to absorb the vast majority of these costs, we have made a small increase to our monthly subscription fees to ensure we can continue to provide our customers with the best possible TV and Radio Service, and maintain these important services for the different language communities in Australia.
UBI World TV's current pricing is available here
We encourage our customers to use our alternative payment methods: credit card, or automatic debit from a nominated bank account. By doing so, they will be able to save $3.95 per month on Account Processing Fees, as well as saving time and having more convenience.
For further information or to change your payment method please contact UBI on 1300 400 800.
